Radoslav Yankov is the master of snowboard. He was born in 1990. In 2017, he won the Crystal Globe in parallel giant slalom of the International Ski Federation and ranked among the top snowboarders in the world rankings. He is the winner of both the overall and discipline Snowboard World Cup trophies.
Since last year, a cup bearing his name has also been held in his hometown of Chepelare. In this way, the children’s idol is with them even when he is competing on the world’s slopes.
Radoslav Yankov has set himself the mission of inspiring future Bulgarian snowboard talents through his success.
“I love Chepelare very much, the place where I live and where I grew up. I want people to understand and see this place, how beautiful it is and what opportunities it offers. I am always happy when I return home and have the opportunity to spend some time here between competitions. Wonderful nature. This is my hometown,” he shared.
