The village is located 2 km east of road II-86, 200 m. after the turnoff to the village of Hvoyna. Pavelsko is the oldest village in Dolen Rupchos. This is the best developed and maintained village in the Smolyan region. The Church of the Ascension of the Lord is one of the first, built during the years of Ottoman slavery - 1834, and has the highest bell tower in the Middle Rhodopes - 17 m., added to it in 1894.

The Aleko Konstantinov Community Center maintains a Museum Collection, which presents historical and ethnographic objects from the Pavelsko region. The village has accommodation and catering options for tourists. The hiking route to Radyuva Mountain - NAO "Rozhen" - Haidushki Polyani also passes here. The village of Pavelsko is a starting point for visiting the Pashaliytsa hut.If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax in the mountains, the village of Pavelsko is a good option. Authentic atmosphere, local culture, a good choice for rural tourism.
