Ski Schools

The ski areas of the two resorts - Pamporovo and Chepelare - are uniquely combined and provide exceptional conditions for practicing winter sports. The ski slopes offer different level of difficulty (green, blue, red and black) and are suitable for all ages and skills – from beginner to professional. It is no surpise that Pamporovo is considered one of the best places for skiing for beginners – here you can find the longest green ski runs in Bulgaria.

Mechi Chal, another emblematic place, can challenge you no matter whether you are an advanced or even a professional skier - the main slope here is flagged as red.

Each year, the ski areas of both resorts undergo regular safety and information access improvements through ski patrols, new information boards, electronic boards on the current status of the facilities, new real time cameras, etc.

We recommend our guests to read carefully the general terms and conditions for use of the ski slopes and cableway installations (lifts) on the territory of Pamporovo and Mechi Chal.

Pamporovo is also an excellent place for snowboarding.

Each year, the resort hosts many ski and snowboard competitions, championships and other sport events, such as the Freestyle Open which is a part of the World Snowboard Tour. It is also a meeting point of many popular elite snowboarders.

The ski tracks of Pamporovo and Mechi Chal present different levels of difficulty and are particularly attractive to challenge lovers.

In Pamporovo ski area you can find renowned ski schools, which have gained prestige in the last 10-15 years. There you will meet highly professional and certified ski and snowboard instructors who can offer both group and individual training to beginners and advanced skiers/snowboarders. Majority of the schools are located in the major ski centers Ski Center 2 – Malina and Ski Center 3 - Studenets.
