On August 15 and 16, in Chepelare City Park, there will be informal, hands-on discussions combined with funky-soul and jazz music.
The event is free of charge and is organized with the support of the Municipality of Chepelare.
Economist and host of the Ex Ante podcast - broadcast for three seasons on BNR Plovdiv - Georgi Stoev has chosen Chepelare for the first edition of the unique Ex Ante economic festival. The event offers ideas and concepts that provide a foundation for confident decision-making in both personal and professional life.
On Friday, August 15, at 8:30 PM, enjoy a jazz concert by Milen Kirov & The Funky Mainas.
On August 16, two discussion sessions will take place under the pines in the City Park.
- The first, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, will focus on economic thinking in upbringing and education.
- The second, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, will present 15 Techniques for Strategic Thinking - applicable to business development, personal happiness, family balance, and household health.
The evening program will continue with funky-soul music and DJ Skill.
"Chepelare inspires!" says Georgi Stoev, sharing that he prepared the first season of the podcast during a creative summer in the picturesque and peaceful Rhodope town.
"We expect participants from all over the country, including journalist Panayot Stefanov, young entrepreneurs’ mentor Vesislav Iliev, social media expert Alexander Krastev, and others," he adds.
Georgi Stoev began his professional career as a macroeconomist at the Institute for Market Economics in 1998. He is a co-founder of Industry Watch and currently serves as chairman of Trakia Tech, strategic consultant to the Trakia Economic Zone and Sliven Industrial Park. He created the Investment Destination series for some of the country’s major cities and is the author of the Ex Ante podcast. He has been a guest lecturer at New Bulgarian University and Plovdiv University.
Milen Kirov is an award-winning Bulgarian-American composer and musician with a distinctive style. He lives and works in Los Angeles, where he successfully blends his Bulgarian musical heritage with the energy of American jazz, blues, and funk.
