From April 4 to 6, 2025, the South Central State Enterprise will hold a carving plein air event for charity "The Tree in Art". People with different professions, for whom carving is a hobby, will carve figures out of wood with chainsaws. The event will be held in Pamporovo and is part of the program of the South European Centre for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of "Forest Week".
The funds raised from the sale of the sculptures will support the Association "Children with Oncohematological Diseases".
Anyone who wishes can attend the event and join in the fundraising.
Due to the rainy weather, the event will be held in front of the former State Forestry building in Pamporovo and not on the helipad as originally announced.
The Association "Children with Oncohematological Diseases" is an organization established in 2010 by parents of children with oncohematological diseases, their relatives and supporters and is registered for the implementation of socially useful activities. It holds a license for the provision of social services for children. It is a full member of the International Confederation of Organizations of Parents of Children with Cancer - CCI, uniting 181 organizations from 90 countries. The mission of the association is to protect the rights of children with cancer, to support them in their struggle, to help them and their families.
